Wir sind BrickMachine. Ein Start-Up, gegründet im Jahr 2022 mit dem Ziel, LEGO für alle erhältlich zu machen, indem wir dem grossen Volumen an LEGO, das heute auf Dachböden verstaubt, ein zweites Leben schenken. Um dies zu erreichen, haben wir über die letzten Jahre eine völlig automatische Sortiermaschine entwickelt, die wir schon im SRF, Tages-Anzeiger und weiteren Medien präsentieren durften.
Zurzeit arbeiten wir als kleines Team aus einem Büro in Thalwil und planen, über die nächsten Monate stark zu wachsen, um den europäischen Markt zu erobern. Komm an Bord!
2. Stellenbeschreibung
Als Betriebsfachkraft wirst du die Verantwortung für die Bearbeitung unserer Bestellungen übernehmen. Das bedeutet konkret:
1. Anlagenführung & Wartung: Du nimmst die Sortiermaschine in Betrieb und planst gemeinsam mit uns die Sortierzeiten. Dabei lernst du, wie man eine industrielle Maschine bedient, Störungen frühzeitig erkennt, diese korrekt dokumentiert und eigenständig Wartungsarbeiten durchführt.
2. Auftragsabwicklung & Qualitätssicherung: Du koordinierst und verantwortest die mehrstufige Verarbeitung unserer Bestellungen von A bis Z. Das beinhaltet die Vorbereitung und Reinigung der LEGO-Steine, das Befüllen und Entleeren der Maschine sowie die finale Verifizierung des Outputs auf Richtigkeit.
3. Teamführung: Du bist nicht allein – du leitest mit uns ein kleines Team von Schülern an, koordinierst ihre Einsätze bei den verschiedenen Arbeitsschritten und sorgst gemeinsam mit ihnen für eine pünktliche und fehlerfreie Auslieferung.
4. Körperlicher Einsatz: Das Bewegen und Transportieren von LEGO-Kisten (mit einem Gewicht von bis zu 30 kg) gehört für dich ganz natürlich zum aktiven Arbeitsalltag dazu.
5. Startup-Mentalität: Wir sind ein Start-Up, daher packt jeder überall mit an, und es kann gut sein, dass du an jedem beliebigen Tag komplett neue Aufgaben übernimmst.
3. Dein Profil
- Gültige Schweizer Arbeitsbewilligung: Mindestens Ausweis B oder CH-/EU-/EFTA-Bürgerrecht (kein Sponsoring möglich).
- Sprachen: Du kannst in Deutsch und/oder Englisch auf einem B2-Niveau kommunizieren (beide Sprachen zu können ist von Vorteil).
- Gute Computerkenntnisse: Du bist sicher im Umgang mit MS Office (insbesondere Excel) und lernst schnell, neue Software zu bedienen.
- Strukturierte Arbeitsweise: Du bist detailorientiert, selbstständig und behältst auch bei vielen Bestellungen den Überblick.
- Flexibilität: Je nach Auftragseingang kann es gelegentlich zu Überstunden kommen, und in Zukunft sollte das Pensum auf 100 % erhöht werden; daher ist ein gewisses Maß an Flexibilität wünschenswert
- LEGO-Affinität: Du kennst den Unterschied zwischen einem Technic- und einem System-Stein? Ein grosses Plus!
- Erfahrung: Einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Logistik- oder Produktionsumfeld ist von Vorteil – viel wichtiger ist uns jedoch deine Motivation und die Bereitschaft, Neues zu lernen.

1. About us
We are BrickMachine. A startup founded in 2022 with the goal of making LEGO accessible to all by giving a second life to the enormous volume of existing bricks gathering dust in attics today.
To achieve this, we spent the last several years developing a fully automated sorting machine, which we have already presented on SRF, Tages-Anzeiger, and other media outlets.
Currently, we are a small team working out of an office in Thalwil, but we plan to grow rapidly over the coming months to conquer the European market. Join us!
2. Role Description
As a Skilled Operator, you will take ownership of processing our orders. Specifically, this means:
1. Machine Operation & Maintenance: You will set up and operate the sorting machine and plan the sorting schedules together with us. In doing so, you will learn how to operate an industrial machine, detect malfunctions early, document them correctly, and perform maintenance work independently.
2. Order Processing & Quality Assurance: You will coordinate and be responsible for the multi-stage processing of our orders from start to finish. This includes preparing and cleaning the LEGO bricks, loading and emptying the machine, and finally verifying the output for accuracy.
3. Team Leadership: You won't be doing this alone: together with us, you will lead a small team of students/interns, coordinate their shifts across the various work steps, and work with them to ensure timely and error-free delivery.
4. Physical Hands-on Work: Moving and transporting LEGO crates (weighing up to 30 kg) will be a regular part of your active workday.
5. Startup Mindset: We are a startup, so everyone has to do a bit of everything, and you might find yourself doing completely new things on any given day.
3. Your Profile
· Valid Swiss Work Permit: Minimum of a Permit B, or Swiss/EU/EFTA citizenship (no sponsorship available).
· Languages: You can communicate in German and/or English at a B2 level (knowing both languages is an advantage).
· Good Computer Skills: You are proficient in using MS Office (especially Excel) and are quick to learn new software.
· Structured Way of Working: You are detail-oriented, independent, and keep a clear head even when handling a high volume of orders.
· Flexibility: Depending on order volume, occasional overtime may be required, and the workload is expected to increase to 100% in the future; therefore, a certain degree of flexibility is desirable.
· LEGO Affinity: Do you know the difference between a Technic and a System brick? That is a huge plus!
· Experience: Relevant professional experience in a logistics or production environment is an advantage; however, your motivation and willingness to learn new things are much more important to us.
4. What we offer
· A gross salary of CHF 2500.- per month for a 60% workload; 12 monthly salaries per year.
· In case of high order income, there is the option for additional hours (paid on-call work if possible, for you), with the goal of expanding the workload to 100% in the coming months.
